Quinte West Council has approved a zoning change to allow Community Living Quinte West to set up a respite care facility at its Trenton headquarters.
The seven-bed area, built at Community Living’s Canal Street office, would be used as temporary accommodations and would allow caregivers a chance to get some rest and relief.
Community Living Quinte West provides various supports for people with intellectual disabilities.
