Applications are now being accepted for this year’s Christmas Sharing program.
Families or individuals in need can apply in person or online this year.
Families can also register for Christmas food boxes and toys from the Firefighter Toy Drive for children under 10.
Individuals can apply for a grocery gift card and the Community Christmas Dinner hosted by the Salvation Army.
Registration is open until November 30.
Those wishing to register need to provide proof of identity, address and income.
To apply in person, visit the Christmas Sharing Office at 199 Front Street, Century Plaza, second floor from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays.
To apply online visit www.christmassharing.org.
Due to COVID-19, the Christmas dinner will be takeout or delivery only at 4 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Board Chair Nancy Roberts says this year more than ever, the organization is going to need additional help to meet the growing demands created by COVID-19, as they expect registration will be up because of the economic downturn.
