A 31-year-old from Quebec is facing stunt driving charges according to police.
Quinte West OPP received a traffic complaint on Thursday night about a vehicle on the 401 travelling at excessive speeds.
Police observed the driver heading west at 183 km/h.
The vehicle was stopped west of Glen Miller Road and the driver was charged with stunt driving.
The driver was additionally charged with having cannabis readily available.
The vehicle was impounded for seven days and the driver’s licence was suspended for a week.
The driver will appear in Belleville court on December 7.
