The City of Quinte West is one step closer to have pop-up businesses by the water.
On Wednesday at the Economic Development and Tourism Advisory Committee, members were given an update about having several containers or shacks constructed along the Bay of Quinte near Centennial Park.
Councillor Michael Kotsovos is the chair of the committee.
He says they are looking at what type of structure the pop-ups will be.
This project would be funded by the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) funds in the amount up to $60,000.
