The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Hastings-Prince Edward has increased again.
HPE Public Health says three more people have tested positive for the virus, bringing the number of active cases up to seven as one more case has been resolved.
Two of the three cases are linked to close contact while the third is still pending.
There are four cases in Quinte West, two in Belleville and one in Centre Hastings.
The total number of cases locally is now at 78 since March.
Meanwhile in Northumberland County there are two active cases, but the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit hasn’t reported any new cases there today.
An outbreak was declared on Thursday at Warkworth Place longterm care facility after a staff member tested positive for the virus.
