The Hastings, Lennox and Addington area is getting a major infrastructure funding boost from the provincial government.
Hastings, Lennox and Addington MPP Darryl Kramp announced Thursday that the provincial government is pouring in $2.5 million for infrastructure projects to assist in COVID-19 recovery.
The funding breakdown gives each Hastings County municipality $100,000, with Belleville getting a larger amount as one third of Belleville falls in the Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding.
The Hastings County municipalities receiving funding are Bancroft, Deseronto, Centre Hastings, Hastings Highlands, Tweed, Marmora and Lake, Carlow/Mayo, Faraday, Limerick, Madoc, Stirling-Rawdon, Tudor and Cashel, Tyendinaga, Wollaston and Belleville.
The breakdown for Lennox and Addington is:

- Loyalist $217,017
- Greater Napanee $189,955
- Addington Highlands $100,000
- Stone Mills $100,000
