The City of Belleville has a new Director of Human Resources.
Late yesterday (Monday) it was announced that Veronica McAlea Major has been selected for the position.
McAlea Major had previously been Director of Human Resources for the cities of Brampton and London and has also practiced law for a number of years.
Mayor Mitch Panciuk said there were several well-qualified candidates for the job but that McAlea Major’s background in both human resources and law would serve the city well.
