One man has died after a collision involving two motorcycles near Colborne Friday afternoon.
Northumberland OPP, Cramahe Township Fire, and paramedics responded around 2:45 p.m. on County Road 2, between Ontario Street and Townline Road, not far from the Big Apple.
Sixty-seven-year-old John Rintoul of Cobourg died in the crash. A 59-year-old woman from Cobourg was taken by air ambulance to a Toronto trauma centre with critical injuries, while a third person received serious injuries.
County Road 2 was closed for several hours for the investigation.
