The Belleville Police Service responded to 79 calls for service between October 23, 2020 at 5 a.m. to Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 5 a.m.
Male Arrested for Breach of Undertaking
On October 23, 2020 around 9:45 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Albert Street in Belleville. Upon investigation, police learned the driver of the vehicle was breaching his undertaking. The 34-year-old man was arrested for Breach of Undertaking and transported to the Belleville Police Service where he is being held for a bail hearing.
Theft of Packages Left at Residences from On-Line Shopping
The Belleville Police Service would like to remind the public to be vigilant with regards to having packages delivered to their homes. With the holiday season quickly approaching, thieves are targeting packages left at residences unattended.
