Belleville Police have made one of their largest ever seizures of Fentanyl while executing a search warrant in the city yesterday and laid a total 35 charges in connection to the raid.
The search was part of Project Renewal, a joint-forces investigation with the OPP, into the trafficking of illegal substances from a Belleville home.
The Emergency Response Team and K-9 Unit searched an east end home and found 224 grams of Fentanyl, with a street value of $40,000, along with about $800 worth of Crystal Meth and some cocaine.
The also seized a can of pepper spray, brass knuckles, about $1,300 in cash and scales.
Three men and two women were arrested and charged with various drug-related offences, with some of the accused also charged with breaching court-ordered release conditions.

Forty-one-year-old Anthony Boutiler of Belleville is charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Failure to comply with court release conditions x 7
- Breach of probation x 3
- Brach of weapons prohibition
Forty-year-old Ashley Donovan of Belleville is charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of proceeds of crime
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Breach of probation x 2
Thirty-six-year-old Tamara Chambers of Belleville is charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
Forty-one-year-old Marie Miller of Belleville is charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Breach of recognizance
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
Thirty-one-year-old Tyler Egan of Belleville is charged with:
- Possession of Fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of Cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
- Breach of probation
