OPP have identified the victim of a single vehicle collision in Campbellford early yesterday (Monday) afternoon.
An SUV lost control on a curve on Queen Street, otherwise known as County Road 50, near Meier Street just before 1 o’clock.
The passenger, 16-year-old Chloe Wellman of Trent Hills, died in the collision.
The driver, a 17-year-old from New Brunswick, was to taken to a trauma centre in Toronto.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
