Centennial Park in Northport is being closed for the rest of the year.
Prince Edward County officials say that closure comes into effect on Wednesday as contractors install a new ramp and pier dock at the park.
Workers will be operating heavy machinery, so the entire park closure is needed to stage those vehicles and other equipment and residents nearby should expect some noise while work is ongoing.
Contractors will be on site between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday, until the work is complete.
