Belleville police have identified the woman who faces several charges after allegedly fighting with police on Thanksgiving Monday.
Officers were called to a west end townhouse complex after a reports a woman was smashing windows and trying to set fire to the building.
When police approached the suspect it was reported she kicked an officer and tried to remove an officer’s firearm from its holster. She was unsuccessful.
Facing several charges including assaulting police, attempting to disarm an officer, and mischief is 39-year-old Barbara McPhee.
