The Quinte West Corporate Finance Committee is looking for input on a proposed 7% increase to development charges.
Those fees are imposed on builders of commercial, industrial, or residential projects and used to recoup costs of various municipal services, in support of those developments.
The committee will hold a public meeting on November 4, 2020, with input on the proposed changes being taken virtually at that time.
If you’d like to make a suggestion on the proposal, you’re asked to submit your feedback for staff to review prior to that meeting.
