Don’t be alarmed if you see low flying aircraft in Prince Edward County.
The Royal Canadian Air Force is conducting tactical low flying training beginning today (Monday, October 19) until October 30.
This training will take place mainly near Point Petre, during the late afternoon and early evening, approximately between 4:00 and 9:00 p.m.
Participating in the training are the CH-146 Griffon and CH-147F Chinook helicopters along with the CC-130J Hercules and the CF-188 Hornet.
These RCAF aircraft will assist the Canadian Army in aircraft identification training.
There is no risk to public safety during this exercise.
