There are two new lab confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Hastings Prince Edward.
The health unit confirmed the new cases Friday morning, and it brings the total number of cases in the two counties up to 65 since the pandemic began.
There are now four active cases. There is one case each in North Hastings and Tyendinaga and Deseronto and two cases in Belleville.
The transmission cause have been linked to travel and close contact respectively.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit is reporting no new cases of the virus Friday.
Provincially, there are 712 new cases of COVID-19.
