More packages containing contraband have been seized at Collins Bay Institution.
Correctional Service of Canada staff secured areas of the medium security unit on Tuesday around 9:30 p.m. to conduct a search.
The items contained in the packages were not identified.
One person was spotted running away from the prison at the time and was arrested by Kingston Police.
