The City of Quinte West’s Planning Advisory Committee is recommending council approve zoning changes to allow a Respite Care Facility to operate in Trenton.
Community Living Quinte West, which provides various supports to people with intellectual disabilities, hopes to set up a seven-bed area in its existing headquarters on Canal Street.
The Respite Care Facility would be staffed and would be used as temporary accommodation to give caregivers some relief.
