The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit is denying a report that there is an ongoing COVID-19 outbreak at the Warkworth Place long-term care home.
The health unit that oversees Northumberland County says despite a report on the Warkworth Place website, it has not declared an outbreak there.
Public health officials are continuing to work closely with staff and partners at all of the LTC facilities in its coverage area and continue to conduct contact tracing and case management.
The Health Unit says based on individual cases it will determine if there are any high-risk contacts, a need for more testing, or whether an outbreak should be declared.
