A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for funeral expenses and to support the family of a 16-year-old boy who was killed in an ATV accident over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Brock Beatty of Tweed had been reported missing on Sunday evening, after not returning from an off-road trip that afternoon and following an extensive search, was found on a trail near Sulphide Road early on Monday morning.
He died in hospital a few hours later.
The GoFundMe page shares memories of Brock calling him “a remarkable person” and says all of the money raised will help with funeral expenses and his family, to recover the costs of being off work to deal with the tragedy.
