The power is back on to most of southwest Belleville after a vehicle collision snapped a hydro pole in half
around 3:30 this (Monday) morning.
The single vehicle collision happened on Dundas Street West near Avondale Road.
Elexicon Energy says 50 or fewer hydro customers are without power now and don’t expect it to be fully restored until around noon.
Dundas West from Palmer Road to Sienna Avenue will be closed to traffic for some time this morning to allow for repairs and cleanup.
Belleville police took a driver into custody. No other detail is available.
