Belleville police were in the west end of the city in the early morning hours Saturday for an assault complaint.
Police arrived around 2:30 a.m. and upon further investigation they arrested 35-year-old Ryan Kleinsteuber of Belleville. He was then charged with two counts of assault and two counts of breaching probation. No serious injuries were reported.
He was released and will appear in court October 29.
