The Quinte Business Achievement Awards are going ahead this year.
The event, which normally wraps up Small Business Week in Canada, will be a little different this year because of COVID-19.
This year, on Friday, October 23rd, 117 local businesses will be celebrated as this year’s awards ceremony will be live streamed and available for the entire community to watch.
Of the 117 nominees, 15 businesses will be declared winners in their respective categories.
The fates of this year’s Quinte Business Achievement Award nominees now lay in the hands of the judges and the judges will have their work cut out for them. Winners will be chosen by a panel of impartial business professionals and leaders who will review the submissions.
Committee Chair Jill Raycroft says this year has been unprecedented and it is more important that ever to recognize the efforts of those organizations who continue to serve the needs within the community on so many levels.
Event Coordinator Morgan Scott says this event shows how much the community appreciates the development of are businesses.
The awarding of the winners will take place live on YouTube!
Door prize giveaways will be happening during the presentation!
