A Quinte West man is serving time in jail after being convicted last March of multiple sex charges against an underage person.
Joseph Simpson, 55, was sentenced to three years in penitentiary September 28 after being found guilty of sexual assault, sexual interference, and sexual exploitation.
Simpson was charged in December of 2018.
The actual offenses took place in 2010 and 2013.
Simpson was also handed a lifetime weapons ban, must submit a DNA sample and will have to stay away from where young people gather after he is released from prison.
