A 39-year-old man is facing multiple charges following a robbery near Maynooth.
Bancroft OPP were called on Wednesday afternoon around 2 p.m. to a report that a taxi driver had been robbed on Hwy. 62.
The suspect had fled on foot.
Officers attended a home in the area and arrested Elwood Ostroskie of Hastings Highlands and charged him with robbery with a weapon, assault with a weapon, transportation fraud, failure to comply with a probation order, failure to comply with an undertaking and possession of methamphetamine.
He was scheduled to appear in Belleville court on Thursday.
