User fees and facility rental charges could be going up a bit in Quinte West in the new year.
The city’s Corporate Finance Committee is recommending council approve a 2% increase to most fees and rental charges in each of 3 years starting next year.
The fees cover such things as building permits, planning department fees, and park and ice rentals.
Meanwhile if council gives its approval, residents in Quinte West will be able to see city committee meetings even after they’ve been held.
Quinte West’s Corporate Finance Committee is recommending livestream recordings of all committee meetings be kept available to the public online for 3 months after the date of the meeting.
Meanwhile, city council meetings would be kept available online for one year.
