Local radio and especially our listeners truly came to the aid of children in the area yesterday (Wednesday).
The 1st annual Kids Can’t Wait Radiothon was a resounding success, raising over $72,000 with money still coming in.
The radiothon was a collaboration between Quinte Broadcasting and Starboard Communications in support of The Children’s Foundation.
Chair of the radiothon organizing committee Cassandra Bonn said “together we helped hundreds of children in our community”.
The Children’s Foundation provides programs and services for kids in Hastings, Prince Edward, and Northumberland counties.
