Multiple Canadian Armed Forces aircraft are helping in the search for a missing boater on Lake Ontario today.
The US Coast Guard located a missing vessel, about three kilometres off the shore near Rochester, New York today, but there was nobody onboard.
A Tweet from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre says the Toronto Police Marine Unit and Canadian Coast Guard are also involved in the search, but high waves and poor weather are making things difficult.
We’ll be sure to provide an update as the search progresses.
