There are now eight active cases of COVID-19 in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties, after two more confirmed cases were announced today.
The transmission cause of the two newest cases, which were confirmed on Friday and Saturday are listed as local spread and close contact.
According to the HPE Public Health Dashboard, of the eight currently active cases in our area, four were confirmed in Quinte West, three in Belleville and one in North Hastings.

Meanwhile, in Northumberland County there are two active cases, according to the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit.
