It was 424 Squadron to the rescue once again earlier this week.
Tuesday afternoon search and rescue personnel in a Griffon helicopter left 8 Wing Trenton and headed to the forests of Algonquin Park.
They were called out to help an injured hiker.
424 Squadron personnel were lowered to the hiker’s location through dense bush and after treatment on the ground the hiker was airlifted into the chopper and transferred to the care of Muskoka paramedics.
