Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting another two confirmed COVID-19 cases in the area Wednesday.
The HPE Public Health COVID-19 Dashboard is now showing a total of 56 cases here since the pandemic began, with four currently active.
According to the location map on that website, one of the new cases has been confirmed in Quinte West and the other in Belleville, but the transmission causes are listed as pending.
Meanwhile, the transmission cause for a new case reported yesterday has been updated as local spread.
Public health officials in Northumberland County are reporting two active cases there.
