The Quinte Humane Society has named their new Executive Director.
Marilyn Lawrie, who was in the role on an interim basis was named to the position this week.
From 2012 to 2016, Lawrie was the Executive Director of the Quinte Ballet School of Canada, and most recently was the General Manager for the Stirling Festival Theatre.
She has also held senior positions with the Quinte Arts Council, Quinte Symphony, and the Belleville Business Improvement Area.
She takes over the position with QHS from Frank Rockett.
It will take effect November 2.
