Tobacco and drugs have been seized at Collins Bay Institution.
Correctional Service Canada says around 10 p.m. last week, a drone was seen within the perimeter of the medium security yard.
The estimated institutional value of the seizure was over $89,000.
A complete smoking ban was introduced in all federal correctional facilities in 2008.
