The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board says there has been a positive COVID-19 case at one of its schools.
The school board says the case originated from J.J. O’Neill Catholic School in Napanee, but wouldn’t say if it was a student or staff member who tested positive and that “no further details will be shared in the interest of maintaining privacy of individuals in our school communities”.
The board says “it continues to work in collaboration with our local public health units and follow their direction and guidance”.
