One person was taken to hospital after a fire at a small apartment building in Belleville late this morning.
Emergency crews were called to 27 King George Square, around 11:00 a.m., after flames broke out in the living room of a third-floor apartment.
Vitor Hazell lives in the building and spoke to Quinte News about what he heard.
There has been no update on the woman’s condition.
Firefighters had the flames under control within an hour and we’ll update the story as more information is available.
