Persistence doesn’t always pay.
A 30-year-old Belleville woman faces multiple counts of theft, possession of stolen property, and dangerous weapon charges.
Yesterday (Monday) Belleville police were called to investigate after a vehicle was stolen from an east end dealership.
That vehicle was recovered along with evidence leading to a suspect, a woman who allegedly stole a vehicle from that dealership on Saturday.
While trying to find the suspect, officers were again called to the same dealership where the woman had returned and was trying to rob a man while armed with a knife.
The woman took off after stealing another vehicle.
The suspect, Angie Nolan, was located and arrested at 6:45 p.m. yesterday.
She appears in court November 5.
