Belleville city council will see a report outlining some location options for a major housing project proposed by Habitat for Humanity Prince Edward-Hastings a couple of weeks ago.
Habitat is proposing building a $26 million project containing 66 residential units and a building for educational and commercial uses.
The organization needs between three and five acres of land for the project.
City staff suggest the following properties as options: the site of the current YMCA, land along Old Highway 2 at Kingston Road, the fairgrounds in the area of the racetrack, and Cascade Park near Parkdale Park.
No decision is expected when council meets this coming Monday.
