The OPP have charged an inmate at Millhaven Institution with murder.
Members of the Penitentiary Squad responded early this morning (Thursday) after an inmate was taken to hospital following an assault.
Dakota Laine Ryder, 25, later died from his injuries.
Inmate Imo Atiba Lewis is now facing a first degree murder charge.
The 37-year-old was scheduled to make a court appearance via video today.
