Airbnb says it has suspended more than 40 listings across Ontario, including several in the Quinte region.
It is in an effort to crack down on party houses.
The majority of the houses are in the GTA, however rentals in Quinte West, The County, Belleville, and Northumberland County are affected as well.
Last year Airbnb announced a global ban on so-called party houses.
The suspensions were spread throughout the following cities and counties across the province:
- Barrie
- Belleville
- Brampton
- Caledon Village
- Georgina
- Hamilton
- London
- Markham
- Mississauga
- Norfolk County
- Northumberland County
- Ottawa
- Peterborough
- Prince Edward County
- Quinte West
- Richmond Hill
- Toronto
- West Nipissing
