A local couple has made a new ventilator at Belleville General Hospital a reality.
Armin and Marilyn Quickert heard about the fundraising efforts earlier this week that raised $10,000.
The Quickerts paid the balance to make this new ventilator a reality for the Intensive Care Unit.
Belleville General Hospital Foundation Executive Director Steve Cook said the Quickerts have been longtime supporters of the hospital and this community.
“This donation helps us reach our goal and we can’t be more appreciative of the Quickerts. They truly are an excellent example of the way the community has shown such tremendous support for the front-line workers and our local health care, especially with the upcoming expansion of the ICU at BGH,” said Cook.
