A local business owner is helping purchase a ventilator for Belleville General Hospital.
Bob Doyle, the owner of the three Belleville McDonald’s (Bayview Mall, North Front Street, Walmart), as well as the Madoc location, is donating one dollar from every coffee sale on Wednesday, September 16 to help purchase a ventilator for the ICU.
The goal is 46,869 coffees or $46,869 to purchase one ventilator.
There is a need for ventilators in the Intensive Care Unit as the department is constantly overcrowded and there are plans to expand capacity from 14 beds to 18.
