A former member of the Trenton Golden Hawks has signed his first pro hockey contract.
Justin Kapelmaster, who was the OJHL Goaltender of the Year during his only season in Canada, has agreed to join the Kansas City Mavericks of the ECHL.
In 2014-15 Kapelmaster lead Trenton to the Eastern Conference Final, and says he will always remember his time with the club. “Everyone was so enthusiastic, the fans were intense. I had an amazing billet family, and our team was strong. I cannot say enough good things about the Hawks and the town as a whole.”
