An annual food drive in Quinte West has been postponed.
The Care and Share Food Bank Board has decided to forgo their usual fall door-to-door collection of non-perishable food items this year.
They say the decision was made in order to protect the health and well-being of their volunteers.
Those who wish to still support the food bank can do so with monetary donations, by purchasing non-perishable food items at Freshco, Metro and Smylie’s Independent in Trenton, or by donating directly to the food bank on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
