Correctional staff at Warkworth Institution made a seizure of contraband items last week.
Staff located a package on the perimeter of the medium security facility in Campbellford.
The contraband included tobacco and shatter and has an institutional value of over $85,000.
A complete smoking ban was instituted in all federal correctional institutions in 2008 and staff are heightening measures to prevent contraband from entering the facility.
