The Director of Education for the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic School Board has sent a letter home to parents thanking them for their commitment to keeping schools safe, as students continue classes during the pandemic.
In the letter, which you can read by clicking here, David DeSantis says the COVID-19 guidelines in place “may be difficult for some”, but is urging students, families and staff to remain vigilant and to “do your part to keep everyone safe and healthy”.
DeSantis is also pointing parents to the board’s COVID-19 advisory web page, where any confirmed COVID-19 case within the board would be posted.
He’s urging anyone who might have further questions about the protocols to contact their school’s principal.
