Loyalist College is hosting a community-wide web forum this week with a goal of actively “removing systemic barriers and implementing direct change on campus and beyond”.
The forum will feature local United Nations Association President Dr. Aruna Alexander, former local councillor and Loyalist nursing grad Georgina Thompson, Quinte Immigration Services Executive Director Orlando Ferro, and Sydney Jarvis a grad of Loyalist’s Social Service Worker program.
The college says it is hosting the Zoom event because it has a “moral purpose to condemn racism of any kind and build capacity to generate positive actions, solutions and impacts” on that.
