With the long weekend ahead, Northumberland OPP are running a traffic initiative centered around aggressive driving.
With higher traffic volume expected due to the holiday, OPP are encouraging safe driving and keeping your eyes on the road. Boating and off-roading are also expected in higher amounts this weekend and OPP are reminding people to adhere to the rules and to keep themselves and other safe.
Police are encouraging people to report anyone they suspect may be driving or boating while impaired.
