It’s going to be a big day tomorrow (Thursday) for a lot of kids and their families.
It’s back to school, finally!
Students haven’t been in class since March because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, not all students will go back to class tomorrow as school boards are using what’s called a “staggered entry” process because of safety concerns.
For Hastings Prince Edward District School Board students, just students from junior kindergarten to grade 4, and those in grade 9 will return tomorrow.
The Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board will welcome junior kindergarten to grade 3 students.
Students in Northumberland County won’t start returning to classes until next week.
