Domestic Assault
On August 29, 2020 at 4:15 a.m., police were called to a North Front St. motel with regards to an unwanted person. After arrival, police investigation revealed that in fact it was domestic related and that an assault had occurred. A 21-year-old Trenton male was arrested for assault and released on an undertaking with a court date of September 14 to answer to the charge. His name is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
Assault
On August 29, 2020, police charged a 19-year-old male in relation to a disturbance call that they received on August 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot of a north end retail store. A Belleville resident was issued an undertaking with a September 17 court date to answer to one count of assault. There were no injuries sustained as a result of the incident.
