There was a single vehicle rollover on the 401 heading east just before Wallbridge-Loyalist Road Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m.
The pickup truck lost control and rolled into the ditch.
The patient was extricated from the vehicle and is being rushed to Kingston General Hospital for emergency services, according to Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen.
Both Quinte West and Belleville fire along with paramedics and OPP responded to the scene.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
The 401 east near Wallbridge-Loyalist Road will be closed for the time being.
